Food was delicious, great diversity of flavours and textures. The gnocchi was an absolute stand out and I could’ve eaten 4 plates of it! Venison and dessert also amazing.
Premium paired wines were great and the staff did an excellent job guiding us through them. The Hungarian dessert wine was delicious! Never tried it before and we were blown away.
Cant recommend it any more! 5 stars.

Flawless. We had such a delicious, beautiful meal at Purslane. Everything was perfect. The amount of work and attention that went into our meal was incredible. Can’t recommend it enough. Hope to be back in the new year. Thank you!

The welcome, the food and the wine menu. Tasted wines from Italy and France that we dis not know existed. Totally recommend this little gem in Edinburgh. No fuss just a really great experience. Keep up the great work guys.

Took my mum here for her 78th, and was saving a trip to Purslane for a worthwhile celebration.
Fortunately, it held up to expectations, and offered a beautiful two-course meal, complimented with excellent service and a warm homely atmosphere.
Food was full of flavour and the quality was well apparent.
I would like to thank the staff for the requested birthday accompaniment, and I look forward to enjoying the restaurant again in future.

From start to finish this was an amazing dining experience.

Each course was superb .

Great wee intimate spot for a special occasion. Not sure if it's up there with similarly priced places in Edinburgh. still well worth trying as the food is still great and the service is excellent and a lot less stuffy and pretentious than similar venues.
